Yes. Advanced tickets are available from August 18 to September 11 here.

Yes. We accept debit, credit and cash at all admission gates and the Beer Gardens. ATMs will also be available on site.

There is limited free parking available in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex parking lot and on surrounding side streets.

Inside fair gates, limited $5 paid parking is available on a first come, first served basis.

Try the shuttle! Park at AO Smith (599 Hill St W, Fergus) and take the free shuttle Friday (5 p.m. to Midnight) and Saturday (12 noon to Midnight).

In addition to the accessible parking in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex lot, there is additional accessible parking available at the back of the building. This is accessible through the Denny Gate entrance (near the skatepark) on a first come, first serve basis.

Yes. A free shuttle will run on Friday (5 p.m. to Midnight) and Saturday (12 noon to Midnight). The school bus shuttle will do a continuous loop between the Fergus Fall Fair (Centre Wellington Sportsplex) and the AO Smith parking lot (599 Hill St W, Fergus). The bus will be marked with Fergus Fall Fair signage. 

Particpating in the Fair

Browse the fair book to see the classes and sections available. Sign up or log in to Assist Expo and follow the instructions to register your exhibits. Or print off the PDF form on this website and complete it by hand. 

Exhibits are accepted on the Thursday evening (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) or Friday morning (8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) before the fair opens. Bring your entries into the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex building during these times and volunteers will be there to help you. 

Adult exhibitors will pay a $6 membership fee by cash, debit or credit. There is no fee for youth exhibitors. 

Exhibits require entry tags. Tags are available for pick up (Brighten Up, Ennotville Garage, Geddes’ Garage, Elora Information Centre and Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex office) or can be filled out when you drop off. 

Exhibitors can pick up entries on Sunday between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. Handicraft exhibitors must bring a copy of their entry form to claim their exhibits.

Prize money is either distributed at the fair or mailed after the fair, depending on the class or show. Please contact us if you haven’t received your prize money by mid November.

The baby show is a fun family event where babies can participate by age. You can dress up for the fair theme or come as you are. There are prizes to be won! 

Entering is just for fun. You and your baby will interact with the crowd, share a little about yourselves and prizes will be distributed for participation and interaction. 

Pre-registration is not required for the baby show. Participants should meet in the Entertainment Tent on Sunday at 12 noon. Additional information is available in the fair book.

Yes. We are expecting the following midway rides: 40′ Ferris Wheel (must be 40″ tall or accompanied by an adult); Harvest Swirl (must be 40″ tall or accompanied by an adult); Paratrooper (must be 40″ tall); Spider (must be 40″ tall); Go Gator; El Paso Train; Kiddie Elephants; Kiddie Ferris Wheel; Kiddie Carousel.
 
Tickets are $5 each or 10 for $40. Unlimited Daytime Bracelet (until 5 p.m. on day of purchase) are $35. Unlimited Evening Bracelet (5 p.m. to close on day of purchase) are $35.
 
Please note: The change in midway provider is due to circumstances beyond our control. Volunteers have worked hard to confirm the above rides and have added additional activities at the fair. Thanks for your understanding.

General FAQ

Pets are NOT allowed entry to the Fergus Fall Fair, except show competitors and Service Animals with documentation. Permitted pets must be under control at all times.

No, we do not have camping available on our fairgrounds.

Yes, the Beer Garden is open from 5 p.m. to Midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is located beside the truck and tractor pull track.

Alcohol Policy: No Outside Alcohol is Permitted. Alcohol consumption is only allowed in the Beer Garden. Open containers outside the designated area are strictly prohibited.
