Pets are NOT allowed entry to the Fergus Fall Fair, except show competitors and Service Animals with documentation. Permitted pets must be under control at all times.

No, public camping is not available on our fairgrounds.

Yes, the Beer Garden is open from 5 p.m. to Midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is located beside the truck and tractor pull track.

Alcohol Policy: No Outside Alcohol is Permitted. Alcohol consumption is only allowed in the Beer Garden. Open containers outside the designated area are strictly prohibited.

Yes, we are expecting a minimum of five adult/family rides, six child rides, midway games and food booths.
 
Individual ride tickets and unlimited bracelets will be available for purchase at the ticket booth in the midway area. 
 
Rides will require one to two tickets each. Tickets are $5.00 each or 10 tickets for $40.00.
 
Unlimited bracelets are $35.00 and will be good for unlimited rides during ONE of four time slots: Friday (5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.); Saturday (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.); Saturday (4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.); Sunday (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Bracelets can only be purchased on the day of use (i.e. Saturday bracelets will only be for sale on Saturday.)
 
Midway hours are Friday (5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), Saturday (11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.); Sunday (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). 
Accessibility Hour: There will be no music or lights on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
 
Please note: The rides and games are operated by a midway company, not the Fergus Agricultural Society. The changes in midway provider in recent years is due to circumstances beyond our control. Thanks for your understanding.

Admission & Parking

Yes, tickets are available online here. The advance sale is online only and runs until September 17. Online sales are subject to convenience and processing fees.

Regular price admission can be purchased online during fair weekend or tickets can be purchased by cash, debit or credit at any of the four admission gates upon arrival. 

Yes. We accept debit, credit and cash at all admission gates and the Beer Gardens. ATMs will also be available on site.

There is limited free parking available in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex parking lot and on surrounding side streets.

Parking inside fair gates is $5.00 and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Try the shuttle! Park at AO Smith (599 Hill St W, Fergus) and take the free shuttle Friday (5:00 p.m. to Midnight) and Saturday (12:00 p.m. to Midnight).

In addition to the accessible parking in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex lot, there is additional accessible parking available at the back of the building. This is accessible through the Denny Gate entrance (near the skatepark) on a first come, first served basis.

Yes. A free shuttle will run on Friday (5:00 p.m. to Midnight) and Saturday (12:00 p.m. to Midnight). The school bus shuttle will do a continuous loop between the Fergus Fall Fair (Centre Wellington Sportsplex) and the AO Smith parking lot (599 Hill St W, Fergus). The bus will be marked with Fergus Fall Fair signage. 

Particpating in the Fair

The Fergus Agricultural Society is a volunteer-based organization and we’re always looking for new team members. You can sign up using this form or contact our Volunteer Coordinator for more information. 

Browse the fair book to see the classes and sections available. Sign up or log in to Assist Expo and follow the instructions to register your exhibits or print off the PDF form and complete it by hand. 

Exhibits are accepted on the Thursday evening (7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) or Friday morning (8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) before the fair opens. Bring your entries into the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex Hall during these times and volunteers will be there to help you. 

All exhibitors (including those registered via AssistExpo) are asked to check in at the registration table upon arrival. 

Exhibitors will pay a $6.00 entry fee by cash, debit or e-transfer. All exhibitors pay the fee except in youth-related classes.

Exhibitors who pay the entry fee will receive a coupon for $6.00 off admission.

Exhibits require entry tags. Tags are available for pick up (Brighten Up – Fergus, Ennotville Garage, Geddes’ Garage, Elora Information Centre and Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex) or can be filled out upon arrival. 

Exhibitors can pick up entries on Sunday between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Handicraft exhibitors must bring a copy of their entry form to claim their exhibits.

Pull registration begins at 5:00 p.m. Please go to the Registration Trailer located beside the track.

Driver and one mechanic arriving in the same vehicle receive free entry to the Fergus Fall Fair. All others will be required to pay admission at the gate.

Depending on the class you enter, prize money is distributed by cheque at the fair or mailed after the fair. Please contact us if you have not received your prize money by mid November.

The baby show is a fun family event where babies can participate by age. Please read about the new categories here

Entering is just for fun. You and your baby will introduce yourselves and interact with the crowd. Prizes will be distributed for participation and interaction. 

Pre-registration is not required. Participants should meet in the Entertainment Tent on Sunday at 12 noon.
